How does a 65 lb. girl control a wise and sometimes wily 1,100 lb. horse? How does a top polo player control a charging pony as they pursue a tiny ball at speeds in excess of 25 mph? We explore the complex partnership between horse and rider in high goal polo, championship rodeo cutting, Olympic level dressage and at stables where first time riders gather their courage and mount up for the very first time.

We discover that great teamwork between horse and rider requires a combination of understanding, patience, trust and communication.
