Can we ever truly know a cat? From passive pet to king of beasts, our relationship with them is unique. As we watch our housebound felines stalk a spider, an image of the lion or tiger flashes in our minds. Perhaps something deep in our subconscious recalls a time when they were predator and we were prey. Meet some extraordinary cats and their owners, from Scarlett who suffered severe burns to rescue her kittens from a burning building to Reebok who saved the life of a little girl to Sooty who travelled six months and 100 miles to find her human family.
